Finally after a lot of preparation, e-mail correspondence and skype meetings all the participants of Youth Exchange arrived in Armenia. There’s who spend hours between flying and waiting at the airport and who came by marshrutka, but despite being tired because of the travel, participants were excited and ready to start: a small walk to city to get acquainted with venue, a brief lunch in the hospitable dinning room and a chat in the yard before the beginning.
The guesthouse which is hosting us is a big building, surrounded by green space, with a volleyball yard and benches to sit; the air is fresh and the mountains are all around us: a perfect venue for a youth exchange with tons of outdoor activities!
During the evening we gathered in the back yard and it was the turn of the leaders of Georgia and Ukraine to running the ice-breaking games: name games, energizes, and a lot of laughs were the main elements of the evening. Participants had a chance to get to know each other and share the first feelings together very actively.
With several beers, wine, snacks and music the night kept on going until late in the night in corridor, where a lot of red lipstick was used…
Excellent start team: it will be a very interesting experience! Stay tuned!
