Aim and abjectives

 

MAIN AIM

The main aim of our exchange is to share knowledge and skills about free-time management that will help participants to manage their free time more effectively and free time of young people with fewer opportunities in their own communities, in order to prevent youngsters from modern addictions, like Internet, TV, drugs and alcohol.

 

OBJECTIVES

We want to achieve our main aim by several small objectives. They are following: - promoting cultural diversity among participants - the ollaboration of a wide partnership of organizations from different regions is the essential part of the project. Sharing knowledge, discussing common problems and uncommon point of views will bring up the fruits of our exchange. Participants will be able to combat their prejudices and stereotypes about people from different countries.

-       preparing workshop/set of outdoor activities for kids from local community in Armenia - as we will work with the youth with fewer opportunities, we want our participants to create a workshop/set of activities that will fit to this issue and help to show that free time is a very important thing when you are young. Those tools will be aimed at promoting a healthy and safe way of spending free time, that is why most of our activities will be held outside.

-       preparing short video feature – the reason why we want to prepare a short video leads us conclusion that this outcome can fit asily needs of participants and youngster in their local communities being interesting and innovative tool how to show cultural diversity and free-time management. In this same that video feature will serve as promotion material both for our organizations and for this project. Through it we want to show how it is possible to work in international field and do something together

-       creating network of organizations from new member states of the EU and countries from Eastern Europe that work on the field of drug, alcohol, TV and Internet prevention using outdoor activities

-       promoting of  “YOUTH IN ACTION” Programmes in active methods of involving youngsters for international events such as this project

-       involving a wider spectrum of youngsters into youth exchanges and initiatives, EVS, and other youth projects for people with fewer
opportunities on local level
